He is co-author of the "HDD Good Practices Guidelines” and the “Pipe Bursting Good Practices” books.

He is active in research and development of mapping technologies, which have contributed to their advancement. He serves and has served as a keynote speaker and lectures at international events.

Since joining Laney in 2011, he also served as Vice President of Engineering and Project Management. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.
